Stephen took his first appointment in 1978 while working for Cape Trustees. He has been appointed as liquidator of a number of companies listed on the JSE which have failed including Montays, Agserv, Tollgate, Mashold, Sure Group and, more recently, the AGI Group (Africa Glass Industries). Other large well-known failures in respect of which he was appointed liquidator include Masterbond, Fundstrust, IMAX (Leisurenet Group), Seven-Eleven Corporation SA (Pty) Limited, The Harbour Island Group, the King Financial Holdings Group to name but a few.

Trevor completed his Articles at Bass Gordon Willis Chartered Accountants in 1993 before taking a post in the Internal Audit Office of the South African National Defence Force for a year. He joined Sanek Cape (Pty) Limited in 1994 which later became Sanek Trust (Pty) Limited and thereafter Sanek Trust Recovery Services (Pty) Limited. He took his first appointment in 1994 and has been the liquidator of some large groups including Isaac Brothers Furniture Manufacturers, Xtra Shoes, Ramsauer Transport, Cellarmaster Wines, Namco Diamond Mining and The King Financial Group. Trevor brings to the practice strong forensic accounting skills and has testified a number of times in the High Court leading to the impeachment of a number of pre-liquidation transactions for the benefit of creditors.

Darusha began her insolvency career at Price Waterhouse Coopers in 1986. She worked in both the Cape Town and Durban offices over a period of 18 years. She then did a short stint at a smaller insolvency practice in Cape Town before joining Sanek in 2006. Darusha has a wealth of experience and a sound knowledge of the Insolvency Act. Her work ethic is of the highest standard. Some of her larger appointments as liquidator and trustee include: Gearings Foundry (Pty) Limited, Seven-Eleven Corporation SA (Pty) Limited, Mad Dogs Clothing CC, Joseph Arthur Walter Brown, King Financial Holdings Limited, Spec Tiles (Pty) Limited, Philken Building Construction and Africa Glass Industries Group. Darusha’s fine forensic skills have led to many asset recoveries.
